Car history: |
4) This Corvette is a blue on blue 427 cubic inch 400 horsepower tri power 4 speed factory car. It came with air conditioning and power windows. The frame is in excellent condition and is matching to the body. The miles at almost 64,000 are actual as the car has been sitting for years. The car comes with its original shifter, linkage, zbar, pedals and its original shifter plate indicating 427 cubic inch 400 horsepower. The gauge cluster is intact with car and is in great shape. No rust in or on the gauges and the cluster plastic is in great shape as well. The wheels are original 1970 ET Mags that are not bent (Motion used these same style wheels on the Macco Shark and Baldwin Motion cars). Brakes are not locked up, so car rolls freely. All of the stainless trim inside and out is in great shape with no dings on them. The body appears to have some Baldwin Motion traits, such as the headlight design, the fender flares, and also being a 4 speed big block car with no power steering and no power breaks. This would be a great car to turn back into an L68 or motion tribute. Car is in rough condition and has been sitting outside for many years. Birdcage is completely rusted out. No engine. No transmission. Most interior pieces are missing including seats. It had a Greenwood body kit installed in the 70s and looks like it had a light hit on passenger right fender which broke the fiberglass and someone removed the whole Greenwood body kit from the car. Underneath there still remains the widened fiberglass fender flares that are in great shape. This car will need a complete body-off reconstruction by a skilled Corvette craftsman. The car's original owner is unknown. I acquired the car from a good friend and we had great expectations of completing the car as a Motion tribute and possibly putting it in a museum. As I am getting older, I am unable to handle this restoration. And again, the frame on this car is in great shape and would make someone a good clean project. Sold for $1,884 on December 10, 2016. 3) 1969 corvette t-top rolling chassis plus extra shell. original 427 4 speed 390 hp car. no engine or trans included in this sale. car had fender flares and other mods back in the 70's. car has the 27 core support, expansion tank, single fuel line and fuel tank, bolt in axles,15/16 front sway bar and 7/16 rear, speed warning indicator etc. frame is nice with only surface rust, bird cage looks good as well. comes with extra doors and an extra shell with seat belts and body panels. car was originally blue with blue interior. also comes with seats and door panels. Still in the same shape. For sale at $3,500 on June 16, 2015. 2)1969 Corvette 427 Tri-Power 400Hp 4 SPD CAR! This is a nice project car that needs restoration. Car is rolling with no mtr or trans. Car has no tank sticker (We pulled tank and it's gone). Car has the correct 9 leaf rear spring. Rear sway bar. Cast caps on half shafts. Wide radiator mounts. Correct manifolds. (RH 3880828) (LH 3880827). Still has correct exhaust. Correct tach. This all being said this is a power window, A/C. Car has 63,773 original miles!! Make no mistakes this is a big project!! But this is worth every penny of the resto!! Car has excellant frame. Body has had flares installed at one point and rear window extension. Car is mostly there minus rear bumper and some other small parts! 63,773 miles. August 17, 2009. 1) 69' Corvette, which was a 427 400 horsepower 4 speed car. The car does not have a title, It would probably be a good parts car. The previous owner took out the motor, trans and the some of the interior. He also removed the front headlights. we have the original cylinder heads off the motor. The car does have the original independent rear suspension, Manifolds and exhausts, gages and shifter plate. The frame and floor boards look pretty solid. I forgot to mention that the driver side door won't open from the outside. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is D20. 163,773 miles. June 7, 2009. |
